2008 in a Nutshell!

January: We went on a Fun vacation to Disneyland

February: We told the Family we were adding Baby number 3

March: Robs mom came to Visit instead of us going to Denver

April:We went to Hawaii!!!!

May: We found out we were having a Girl!

June: We went Vacationing in Moab

July: Robs Brother Sam, Sydney and Noah came and we spent the weekend Camping at the Cabin

August:Robs Sister Christina came with Josh Gabby and AJ

September: Zaylee is Here!

October: We went on a FUN Family Vacation to Myrtle Beach!

November: I made my first trip of the year to Denver to show off baby number three!

December: We had a Great Christmas!

I am so Greatful for everything I have, we have been so Blessed this year. I'm so excited for Next year and more Great Blessings to come! It has been so much fun with a new baby around the house and we couldn't have asked for a better Baby. Zaylee is so Good and the kids love her so much. Too Much sometimes! Ian and Paige are Healthy as well! And who could ask for more..

So, Santa was at the Primary Activity and I got cute pictures of the kids!

When one goes out they all go out!!

So it is always a fight to have Rob hang the Christmas lights because he is afraid of heights.... And after Ian nagging me everynight that our house was the only house on the street without lights I went out and bought all new lights, clips, extension cords, the works you name it everything needed to hang lights and then paid the neighbor kid to hang them. There was a really cool strand of lights that had huge blubs that change color and blink they were 37.00 a strand then 50 percent off. I thought cool I will get one and hang them on the pole on the front porch. So I went looking and of course they were the last strand so the Clerk in seasonal said he would give them to me for 60 percent off, box them up I said. They rang everything up and when I got home I looked at the reciept and the 37.00 lights were rung up for 5.25. The clerk rang up the 50 percent off and then took 60 percent off of that! Christmas Help is losing that store money. So I took a picture but it didn't do justice for the great light hanging that the neighbor boy did!!!! Ian Loves it, and I guess that is all that matters... except the fight there will be for taking them down, or the neighbor kid will end up with another 20 bucks!

Flu Shots

We went to the Dr last Thursday and Ian and Paige got flu shots and Zaylee got her 2 month shots. Well I will have to say the girls did way better than Ian. Paige cried for maybe two min and Zaylee is so tough she just wimpered. Ian.... ohhh it took me and another nurse to hold him down and a 2nd nurse to give him the shot. Driving to the appointment Ian told me he was nervous and felt sick. Then he made Paige go first and Zaylee second. What a loving big Brother. Well Paige was getting her flu shot Ian was hiding in the corner on the floor. Lets just say I left sweating, next time I have to take three kids to the Dr. Office to get shots Rob is coming with me. Or he can take Ian. The Girls were much tougher. Oh by the way my Girls are in the 80th percentile and Ian he is still in the 10th percentile. Tough and Tall. Ian better get tough and tall so he can chase all the boys away for me.

My Intense Child.

So my kids are just so full of life they both are very intense!!!! Paige was talking to grandma the other day and she said will you take me to see Jannas babies and gma said you have to be 12 and her instant response was well I'm 13, so show some ID gma said, so she flips her fingers out of her pocket and said here, gma laughed so Paige replied I want you to take me over there and let me talk to Janna's Dr. I mean she is barely 3 yrs old and she is such a fast thinker. Her newest thing is that she has a boyfriend Keaton, at school, he is one of the high school kids in the class that teach the 3 and 4 yr olds. She is just enthralled with him, all she does is talk about when she gets to see him next and that she wants to hug him and give him kisses on the cheek. They are on a block schedule so she gets to see him twice a week and she always ask if today is going to be a Keaton day. On Halloween they trick or treated at the high school and she said she fell and Keaton was right there to pick her up, I asked her if she was 16... I asked her what she did at school the other day and she told me..... Took a picture of me and text it to Keaton. The high scool girls all think it is so funny and play on. I'm in BIG Trouble!

I had the chance of an amazing friend come and take Zaylees pictures at my moms house... They turned out great. The announcements turned out beautiful and will hopefully be in the mail this week!!!

The TWINS are HERE!!!

After all the fun and the eventful things of October, right now on my mind is that my sister had her twins early this morning.... Natalie 1 lb 15 oz and Riley 2 lbs 6 oz.... It is going to be a long hard road for her the next couple of months. I'm just praying that they are healthy and will grow right! Janna I love You!!

This Years Family Vacation

So for this years Family Vacation we went to Myrtle Beach, It was great! It was in the 80's and sunny everyday. The only day it rained was Saturday and we were leaving. The kids enjoyed the pool.... everyday..... It had a waterslide and toys! We walked on the beach and collected sea shells! There were so many from the storm the weekend before we got there. We went shopping and to the Alabama Theatre for a Music Show. It was nice and relaxing! Now where can we go next year?

Birthdays

So this year I decided that I did not want to do a BIG party for Ian and Paige who's birthdays are two days apart. And just have cake and ice cream with the Family and call it good. This is because the day after Ians birthday we are going out of town to Myrtle Beach for the week. I have always done a big party.... Well of course all that changed... I went to the Silent Auction for Ians school and what did I bid and win.. A birthday party for 8 to Kangaroo Zoo in Pleasant Grove for less than a third of what it would have cost.. So I will get the 6 cousins and my 2 together for a big to do Birthday Bash. I can't believe I tried to skip it, I think the lack of sleep is finally catching up to me, I know how excited they are going to be.

The Picture Taking Expirence

Well, I went and bought hairbows and everything else that I needed for the matching trio to get their pictures taken. I got them all ready and they looked so good. Alyssa did Paiges hair and Ashley came over to go with me and off we went, well I didn't realize that at Kiddie Kandids you now make appointments instead of just walking in... They were booked for the rest of the night at three different locations, the location in Babies R Us did not answer so we went there. The lady said they were booked and we should have just called it a loss and left. Paige started crying because she said that she was all ready, which she was and so the lady said if the 6:30 appointment does not show you can have it. Well I wanted a picture of all three of them and then new outfits for their birthday pictures that I do every year. So at 6:50 she said it was our turn. Zaylee was wide awake becasue I had only fed her enough so she wouldn't cry. The guy started to take her pictures, they were looking soooo bad. He was so slow too. Then the 6:30 appointment showed up and so did the 7, He started taking a couple more pictures and then the other clerk came over and said you have the camera facing the wrong way... At this point I said we are calling this a loss and leaving. I didn't want to spend money on bad pictures and I had lots more that I wanted taken. So we left.... I will call this a loss and start over with an appointment during the week... Hopefully they will turn out.

I can't think of a more exciting way of starting a blog page, but with a New Addition to the Family!!!
