The furnace....

This was my day yesterday......
So as I was downstairs doing laundry I noticed the furnace was making a funny noise. So Rob called the HVAC guy and he said sounds like the motor went out, and I can come fix it tomorrow.

What a day The tooth Fairy didn't come last night, the furnace is broken, and the washer is broken.

Well after dinner Roy came over and helped Rob unstack the washer and dryer and they took it apart and fixed it! My front loader kept reading F-1.. So I googled the code and found out that it meant the drain was clogged or the pump to the drain had gone out. Lucky enough it was just the drain that was clogged. Really clogged. Two plus dollars in change, a sock, a bracelet, hair pins, a back to a delta pin that I have been missing for sometime, and lots lots more crap. It was gross. I didn't even know that it would clog like that.

Well I ran a load of laundry and it is working great!
The Tooth Fairy came a Day Late....
And the Furnace well its 63 degrees in my house this morning and I have a feeling my pocket book will be a little lighter this afternoon.

Laundry...

Laundry is never ending..... Between all 5 of us you have Regular clothes, dress clothes, baseball uniforms times four Rob is on two teams and Ian is on two teams, Work Uniforms, and the list goes on and on and on. But last week my front loader washer broke and I'm afraid to find out how much it is going to cost to fix it so I am lucky enough that no one is in my basement apartment at the moment and I can use the washer and dryer in the basement. Which if you know anyone that needs a place to live tell them to call me.

But can I tell you what a pain in the ass it is to do laundry for 5 hiking it up and down the stairs when I have never had to before! I am so grateful my washer and dryer is on the same floor as the bedrooms. Now this is an incentive to get the washer looked at :)

Ian is the Winner...

Here is Ian's winning picture for the Arbor Day contest. He won out of three classes in his first grade for Viewmont! It was bitter cold during the outside award ceremony. Here it is April 30Th and we got snow!

Also Paige went to the Zoo for Preschool this week and here are some pictures. Her big friends were cheap and didn't take her on the train. They said they could only find the tracks not the beginning. Come on Big Friends it is a $1.50. While I guess she should have come with me because me and Zaylee went on it. She told me to get lost. She should act four and not fourteen.

Here is Zaylee eating Rob's Birthday Cake. It made it all the way to the cabin. No messes of any sort. While we were unloading the car Paige let Zaylee out of her car seat and this is what we get! Happy Birthday Rob! 31!!!

Paige....

Mom I bet if you would have washed my leggins inside out the sparkles would not have come off.... Paige I bet when you get a little bit older you can do your own laundry! She is my difficult child!

Crazy Busy...

So this past weekend was Crazy Busy.... Rob left and went out of town for the First Softball tournament for the year. While Ian had a three day Tournament of his own. The first game he got a single and a double with three RBI's. But the next three games were cold and he got hit by the pitcher, walked once and struck out three times.. Oh well there is lots of baseball this season. I worked early (5 am) on Thursday so I could make his game. And since Rob was out of town I switched shifts on Friday and worked late (until 2 am) so I could be there all day. All this did was give me a massive migraine. So I spent most of the day Saturday in bed. When I did manage to crawl out I was headed to my mom and dads to get the kids and I stopped at the mail box. The first letter on top was from Murray City. Ian won the Arbor Day contest for the 1st grade at Viewmont! He gets to miss school to go to a Award Ceremony that includes Lunch! Then they plant a tree with his name in front! Way to go.... He is a mini Rob. Baseball, Drawing, afraid of heights you name it they are so much the same! So when I got to my moms house my dad said lets go get an ice cream from Leatherby's. It was a Saturday night and the line was long so we ended up at McDonalds for a Hot Fudge Sundae. When Zaylee finished hers Ian said I will take her to the play land. Next thing you know she came running back with blood all over her face. She sliced her tongue. How I don't know. So we called the on call Pediatrician and he said they won't stitch the tongue (which if it would have been that deep anywhere else she would have gotten stitches) . And unless there is a piece hanging don't go to the ER. It looks so much better but boy was it nasty. Since I blogged about Ian and Zaylee I will add two cents for Paige. Jill took her to baby animal days and for the first 90 min she was being her stubborn self and cried (she wanted HER coat and said she was cold). I was skeptical about sending her because I don't think that she has ever gone anywhere with someone other than family. She promised me she would be good. But Paige is Paige and I was worried. Well I guess my skeptism was true and she was her stubborn self. At least she wasn't mean like I thought she would have been. After her stubbornness wore off she had a Blast and got to hold baby chicks and bears. She got to pet pigs, sheep and do all kinds of fun things. It had to have been more fun than sitting at two cold baseball games!
