My boys....

Shaved their heads at a Fundraiser for Cancer! I know it will grow back in time. But to all those out there that it won't grow back due to Chemo or Radiation my heart feels for you. Of course I got a little teary eyed at the event but I am just overwhelmed with all of the emotions. The older I get the stronger my emotions get. I guess that is the mom in me coming out! Say a special prayer tonight for Chase has clinic tomorrow and a friend from work her grand daughter Lily goes in for reconstructive skull surgery in the morning.

My heart sank..

As I was reading facebook yesterday one of my friends thoughts said praying.... so I sent a text and asked is Everything ok? I was not prepared to hear the reply. She said Jamie's almost three year old boy was diagnosed with Leukemia and had started the first round of chemo. My Heart Sank and here I sit with tears coming down my cheeks thinking about this great family!

When Rob's mom moved to Denver and he stayed behind this family took him in and gave him a home.

To the Riley/Hunter Family my thoughts and Prayers are with you at this moment and Chase be strong.

Its the little things in life that we take for granted and now just remember give your loved ones a tighter hug and kisses everyday!

The Principal Called Home....

So the Principal called home today. And when the number came up on the caller id I thought to myself Ian wasn't late today I dropped him off. Oh yes, it was not for something good either. Ian punched Adrian in the back during Gold Medal Mile. And the principal called to tell me that when he asked Ian why he did it that Ian wouldn't give him an answer and that is why he was calling. So to make a long story short Adrian is not a good kid. It all boils down to Adrian has picked on him all year long and the frustration was let out. A few weeks ago this kid told Ian that his cousin (Seth) better watch out cause he was going to kill him. Ian yelled oh Hell No your not. So when the kid pulled on his hoodie walking today Ian let it out! Of course Rob said to me why didn't he punch him in the face? Because Ian is too nice Thats Why. I can see the principal calling me for Paige :) But I didn't expect this call for Ian, at least just not yet! Well I'm glad he is sticking up for himself. Because he will usually just sit back and watch. Buddy next time don't do it at school.

So today as I was driving preschool after I dropped off the kids I got pulled over when I was exiting the freeway. I kept thinking in my mind why am I getting pulled over. I wasn't speeding, I didn't cut anyone off, I couldn't think of what I did wrong. So I rolled down my window and the office told me his name and said that my 2010 yellow tag was 3/4 of the way gone and someone had tried to steal it. He was pulling me over because he thought that my registration has expired last August. Then seeing the little piece he told me to go and get a new tag from the DMV. Just what I wanted to do today, wait in line at the DMV because some dumb ass stole my sticker. To add salt to the wound they charged me 5.00 to get the sticker replaced!

The Valentine's, Birthday, Presidents Day Weekend.... Was Fun!

So over the weekend I gave Rob a project that he didn't want to do and all it did was cause a big fight. Lucky enough the fight is over and the Project is Finished. And out of all the Random pictures that Paige takes this is the only one of the Washer and Dryer before hand and now after. I probably should have taken a picture before so you can see it is so much better now.

Before the washer and dryer were side by side on pedestals... With one shelf across the Top. And if you know of anyone that wants to buy the pedestals they are not being used anymore. They are for a Whirlpool front loader.

And here they are stacked with Lockers for the Kids for Coats, Backpacks, Shoes, and Bins for the hats, gloves, cold gear etc..... They look very nice and Rob wants the insides of the lockers Painted. So I guess I'm going to buy paint to finish them off!

I'm 30!

So we went to the cabin for the weekend and the trip was cut short due to the water line froze at the main in the street. So every time you needed water you had to go to the basement storage. Do able yes... Convenient no. So we came home and had a Great Valentines Dinner with the family. Today I want to go shopping at the Outlets in Park City.

Paige got lip gloss for Valentines and she lost it before we ever made it home from the cabin. She left her two webkinz stuffed animals at the cabin too. She said I lost my lip gloss, left my friends at the cabin but I found 2 pennies I am so Lucky! Wow 2 cents you are very Lucky maybe in 10 years you will have enough pennies to buy more lip gloss!

Well here is to the next thirty years! Hope they are just as great as the first thirty!

I love Feb!!! Valentines Day is fun and I love to dress the kids up in Cute outfits and give fun gifts! Rob does the same thing every year a case of coke in bottles, dinner, and a card. Well I haven't had a coke since last April so what is he going to do this year? I will suggest Diamonds :)


And then the Day after is my Birthday! The Dirty 3o this year. So what do you do? Have a Party? Go out to dinner? Get on a Plane and go somewhere you have never been? The Cabin?
Also Cake is a must... Ian lives for Birthday cake... actually it is just the candles! He is not much of a sweets eater and he would rather have fruit so the candles is what he likes about Birthdays!

So far I have the 13th off and the 15th off from work. I am still trying to find someone to work on Love Day and it has not been so easy due to Valentines/Presidents Day Weekend ... Wish me Luck!
