The Week in Review....

So I went back to work! I was on Light Duty and they made me stand at the front doors and Play Wal-Mart Greeter! After standing for 6 hrs my foot hurt. Then on Thursday Rob's Grandma Winterhalder passed away at age of 88. So we went to Denver for a three day visit. We saw most of the Family there and had a good weekend. While we were there Paige got her ears pierced. I wasn't for it mostly because I don't want to take care of them if they get infected. But she was a champ. She didn't even flinch. She didn't even know that they had done it.

So I went to the Dr for my foot today and he said All is good and I can wear a shoe!

Feeling Much Better than a couple of Posts ago.

I went and saw Extreme Measures this week also, and I just have to say I am so grateful for My Healthy Children! I have been watching the blog of liverforlulu.blogspot.com This Family lived by mom and dads growing up. Pat (Liz's brother and Liz is mother of Lulu), is my age and would always hang around my house with his friends. It brings tears to my eyes every time I sit down at the computer and read it! It makes me Appreciate what I have! :)

2009!

What a year it has been! The kids are all getting so big! Ian is loving First Grade and reading very well, baseball is still his first Love. Paige loves Preschool at Skyline and is enjoying Dance! And Zaylee is talking, walking, and has 10 teeth! I'm so tired of hearing about the poor Economy that I could scream. Live life day to day and enjoy every minute of it!

Some of the Fun Events of 2009 were

Jan..... A Trip to Denver!
Feb .... We didn't go anywhere. What was wrong with us.
March... Denver we go again!
April..... A Trip To Hawaii with Ashley and Adam and Robs Mom..
May... A Girls Trip to Boston.... It was so much fun where are we going next year?
June.... Our Annual Trip to Moab to watch Rob play Softball!
July, Aug, and Sept... We had Many Trips to the Cabin. (Which we are supposed to be leaving Right Now for the weekend but Rob went to Sportsmans and is MIA.....
Oct.... Our Second Trip to Hawaii with the entire family 28 People went!!!!
Nov... Another Trip to Denver..
Dec... Was Busy as usual and with my foot Surgery we didn't go anywhere but Crazy!

My foot is healing slowly and the pain is minimal. I'm starting to walk a little bit with my boot on. But the Crutches are close by for help! I would not suggest ever having a surgery over the Holidays again!!!
Rob is still playing any sport he can. Right now he is playing on a Basketball League. He says every year that this will be his last for Softball but we all know that will not happen. He plays fastpitch and slowpitch. This year he played Spring Summer and Fall on two teams. We put a Family slowpitch team together and we Sucked!!! I guess it was motivation for practicing to be better next year!

Alex came home from his mission in Late April and it seems like he never left.
Ashley and Adam had a baby in March named Colby!
Janna and Darris' family is up to six Seth Tyler and the Twins Natalie and Riley!
Jori and Roy are expecting a baby in Feb and that will make their family at six too!
The Bakery is still going strong for my Mom and Dad. And boy I don't know what I would do without my family. I Love them All!

Here is to an even better year for 2010!!!

Busy Time of Year....

Its always busy in December....
This year has been no different. The surgery went well and the massive pain only lasted a few days. So far since then the pain has been manageable. I go to the Dr. tomorrow so we will see how the healing is doing and how much longer I can't put any weight on it.

Paige had a Dance Recital and of course she is Drama as always... She did very good and knew all of the words to her song.

My shopping was almost done before the surgery and I sent Rob to do the Rest and then did some on the Internet! I decided I love shopping that way. No fighting for Parking, No People to fight, and if you shop on Amazon no Tax!!!!!!! And on top of it all they send it to your house! Hopefully my house I have heard horror stories where they send it to someone else's house. But so far I have gotten all of My packages!

Well I hope everyone is having a Wonderful Christmas Season. Tonight we are getting together with my cousins and their kids for Dessert and Santa!!! I will post pictures later of Zaylee Crying! She does not like him.

Thanks to Everyone who sent a Christmas Card!

Merry Christmas!!!!

4 Hours

Who could have known that in four hours you can go the hospital check-in, get prepped, have a bone taken out of your foot, and then go home. So far so good. Ask me when its not numb anymore though.....

And on a good note Keaton went and saw Paige at Preschool today! She is on cloud nine and called me the second she got home from Preschool. Kumi and Teeny gave her a visit at our house over Thanksgiving that included lipstick and Candy! I LOVE Skyline Preschool. Keaton if only you were 4 and not 18.. :)

Surgery....

So I have an extra bone in my right foot and for the past 6 months it has made my leg hurt. Really bad... So I went to the Dr in October and he said take this drug and use these insoles and see if the pain will go away and come back in a month. So I skipped the drug and used the insoles and went back and he said... you have to take the drug and come back in another month. I decided to get a second opinion. So today I went to a new foot Dr. and they did x-rays and he said drugs will not make the pain go away and yes it needs to come out. So we scheduled it for the 14th of this month. This means a cast and crutches for one month. And so far for Christmas I have bought nothing.... I guess I better get my act together this week and finish before I won't be able to walk. Good thing the Decorations are up so that will be one less thing to worry about!
