Opening Day......

So it was Ian's first Baseball game tonight for the season for Little League. His Super league team has been practicing since Jan and already took 3rd at the Spring Fling in St. George. But this team has no pressure and is full of Fun! So with me working nights I miss lots of things like baseball practice and the parents mtgs and so on. So guess who's child out of the two teams was the only boy wearing White Pants!!! Yep you guessed it MINE!!!! I never got the MEMO... Minors members your pants should be gray!!! While I know what I am going out to buy tomorrow. Gray Baseball Pants. Too bad I forgot my camera because at the start of the night both teams line up for the National Anthem and Ian stood out like a sore thumb! He made up for it in talent... He is playing up a division because I think he might hurt someone in Pee Wees which is 6 to 8 yr olds so he plays with the 9 and 10 yr olds. At his practice on Saturday I was wondering if we had made a good decision by playing up. He is small to begin with, only in the 10th percentile and then he is really small next to the older boys. Well all of that worrying went away... He was lead off in batting and pitched the 2nd inning.. He went 2 out of 3 with 3 RBI's. And in pitching he Struck out 2 batters!!! No wonder all this boy dreams about is Baseball. And he is on the Red Sox! Thank Goodness I don't know if I could root for a Yankee!

Today's Funnies

Zaylee has a Hemangioma, it is on her left side by her shoulder in the front. It has gone from very small when she was about a month old, to really dark and quarter size when she was about six months old, and as she gets older it has started to get smaller and lighter... Well today she was running around in her undies and she jumped on the bed next to me. I rubbed my finger over her hemangioma and she said to me... Don't touch my nipple..... I had to laugh. Three nipples.

As I was looking over Ian's homework tonight that gets turned in tomorrow there was a math problem it read..
This chart shows the number of students who were late for school this week. About how may students were late in all?
You have Monday...13 Tuesday...10 Wed....14 Thurs.....11 Friday...9
Ian's answer was ALL of Them. Smart Boy. I'm sure he knows that they wanted him to tally the days, but he was in his usual hurry and get it done mode.

Paige.. She had no funnies today. Her room was a massive mess and I had her clean it!

Viva La$ Vega$

So Rob and I went for a quick trip to Vegas... I mean who works for an Airline just for the money!!! Not me. I work for an Airline to Play! Well and I guess money:)

For my birthday Rob bought tickets to Blue Man Group in Vegas. Other than we when we sat down I was a little irritated because the seats were in the Pancho Section, and I didn't want to get anything on me. I got over it really fast because the seats were Excellent! You could see Everything. I did get banana in my hair, but thats Ok I got over it! Thanks Nate and Marci for the hook-up!

And for Lunch we went to a place from the Travel Chanel of Man vs Food to the Hash House a Go Go! Yummy!

We spent the night at Circus Circus bringing back lots of fun memories from when we were kids. Playing all the games on the top floor. We walked the strip and split dinner at a restaurant next to Treasure Island and we watched the Pirate show right out the window!

It was soooo much fun!
Thanks Rob, I Love You!

Rob had the Eggs Benedict with Chipolte sauce served over biscutts, and I had grilled mashed potatoes, meat loaf with mushroom gravy and onions!

Bringing in the New Year...

So we went to the Cabin to bring in the New Year and It was Lots of Fun with some experiences I hope to never relive! We got a later start to the Cabin than I had hoped for and by the time we had made numerous stops and got the snowmobiles running to get into the cabin it was dusk.... Well Paige, Zaylee and I got on a snowmobile and headed towards the cabin. Well Paige was facing back words so the wind didn't hit her face and as I turned from the road into the cabins side road she panicked grabbed the handle bars and into a rod iron gate we went. My face cut and many bruises, Paiges head has a big goose egg, and Zaylee cut her lip. Well I couldn't get the snowmobile unstuck so we waited for the next group to find us... not to mention it was 1 degree or colder by then outside. Finally came Roy and my Dad they took Zaylee and left Paige and I at the gate. Well thirty min had gone by and they had not returned so I thought we will just walk it might take 15 min from where we were, well the snow was sooo deep and we kept sinking so we turned around and went back to the snowmobile. Another 20+ min had gone by and Paige was shaking from the cold and panicking. The cabin where we were had their lights on so I decided we are either going to try and walk again or go knock on that cabins door. Well my dad had gotten stuck and finally Roy had returned to save us! When I walked into the cabin it was a sight... The kids were screaming from the cold, Zaylee was still bleeding and Ian and Seth were trying to be helpful and had made the best watered down hot coco I had ever tasted! Well in the meantime no one at the cabin had their phone, so the ones left at the car were in panic mode as well, they had now been waiting an hour and a half plus. Rob had started to walk in and some other people stopped him and said they would come back in to give him a ride to find out what had happened to us.

Roy went and got Rob and between the two of them they got my snowmobile unstuck and the one my dad was on. They got the rest of the people into the cabin with all of the stuff and in the meantime Max's fingers got frostbite.

Lesson learned that if you are not to the cabin before dark... Don't go! Plus there is soooo much snow this year. I have never seen that much snow at the cabin before, they should not complain there will not be enough water this year.

Jori ended up taking Max to the ER the next day and he is Good! The kids played in the snow and we played lots of games and had lots of Food to bring in the New Year!

I took some pictures of the Kids at Midnight (which was a fight for me to even stay awake) and then just deleted them after I thought I had uploaded them. Well they were not uploaded so no pictures of Midnight!!!!

We made it out safely with no events! Here are some pics of the Cabin Fun while we were there! I have to admit I think I am ready to go to work tonight! I know once I get there I won't have that same feeling but the Holidays for 2010 are over and I only have a few more boxes to put back in storage!!!!

This is the back of my leg from holding onto the snowmobile

And my shoulder from running into the gate :(

The Year is coming to an End...

Well the year is almost over and what a trying one it was. I have never paid more medical bills in my life. Had more car problems with Robs Truck (which is now gone due to so many problems). Who would have ever thought that I would be thinking about buying plots at the Murray Cemetery. Or just wishing that my bad choices in life can change for the Good! Well now that the bad is out of the way their is always more Good than Bad.
January.. We went to Denver because Robs Grandma Passed away.
February.. We spent my Birthday and Valentine's Day at the Cabin.
March.. Roger and Lori came here to visit!
April.. We went with Friends to the Cabin to celebrate Rob's Birthday
May... We were entertained by Paige's dance recital, I just dreamed we were in Hawaii :)
June.. Our annual Softball trip to Moab
July.. We spent many hours at a Baseball Field watching Ian play this year!
August.. We went to Denver and went to a Rockies game :)
September.. Zaylee turned Two! School started and I just keep wishing Paige was in Kindergarten(All Day) Next year just can't come soon enough for her!
October.. San Antonio.. Birthdays.. Ian was Baptised
November.. Rob lost a Dear Friend, which was the bringing for me to think about buying plots. We stayed in town for Thanksgiving then went to the cabin to rest for the weekend but Rob ended up putting the carpet in the basement! We are soooo excited that there will be more bedrooms up there!
December.. We went to Denver for Christmas (we haven't been in 9 years) I had the week off between Christmas and New Years which I have never been able to do before! So we took advantage and went out of town! Whoa.. It was difficult flying standby and packing all the gifts! Not to mention flying standby home and bringing home a whole lot more gifts! All I can think that Christmas is over and I don't have to think about it for one more year!!

The year is almost over and I am grateful for my Family! They do so much for us! Here is to 2011!!!! Hoping that everyone will be Healthy and Happy :)
